Welcome to another Car Caves episode with a real-time download from me to you!

Lately I've been thinking about lessons from my childhood and young adulthood, when I was always taught to play small and how I was always steered by others to the "safe" route.

Why did I always listen to these people? It wasn't because I was people-pleasing or seeking approval — it was that I believed I wasn't good enough and I didn't trust myself.

I had no one to look at for possibilities and expansion, so I had no freaking idea that I could question whether these adults were right or wrong!

Now I feel resentment at the self I was back then and at the way I was raised, and it’s something that I’ve started to work through.

So in this episode, I’m sharing how I’ve been doing that, including lessons like:

  • being aware of when someone tells you what you “should” do, it's based on their awareness and trauma, not yours
  • why it’s so important to know the history of what has been taught to you, so you can have a better understanding of where your decisions are coming from
  • and this is a tough one, but — the constant practice of forgiveness because it wasn't your fault

And don't forget: The Sacred Shift Immersion is open and it’s FREE! This is not another summit or webinar — it’s a portal to reset your energy and reclaim a sense of grounding as we move into the fall and the holiday season. Join me with fellow Human Design experts Krystle Kavalsky, and Akary Busto for three days of sacred embodiment on September 22-24.
