Hey Bobcats, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for November 24 through December 1. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—Wednesday, November 26, is a Legislative Day, so classes will follow a Friday schedule. Then, Thursday and Friday, November 27-28, are Thanksgiving Recess—no classes scheduled. Next, the fall semester is winding down, with classes ending on December 11. Final exams are scheduled from December 15 to 19. Finally, if you're planning to travel during the break, be aware that early snow is possible in late November to early December, especially in upstate regions and metropolitan suburbs. Over the weekend, our men's basketball team secured a thrilling victory against the University of Rochester, with a final score of 78-72. Sophomore guard Alex Thompson led the charge, scoring 24 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Looking ahead, the team will face off against Brandeis University at home this Saturday at 3 p.m. Let's pack the stands and show our support! This Tuesday, the NYU Film Club is hosting a special screening of "Moonlight" at 7 p.m. in the Kimmel Center. It's a great opportunity to unwind before the holiday break. Also, have you noticed the "Bobcat on the Move" meme circulating on campus? It's a fun way students are sharing their study spots—join in by posting your own! And if you're staying in town for Thanksgiving, the dining halls will be serving a traditional feast on Thursday from 12 to 3 p.m. No need to RSVP—just bring your appetite. This week in New York City, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from the mid-40s to low 60s. There's a chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, so keep an umbrella handy. As we move into December, temperatures will drop, so it's a good idea to start layering up. Your move: Check your class schedules for Wednesday's Legislative Day and plan accordingly. Don't get caught off guard by the Friday schedule! That's your quick Campus Update. I'm Jenny—catch you next Monday morning. Tap follow on your podcast app so you never miss a beat.
