It was a pretty calm week in the HomeKit space, but we did see the North American release of the world’s first Thread-enabled air purifier which I’m stoked about. I also discuss my experience with SwitchBot’s first foray into the HomeKit space with a mini review of their Smart Plug mini with HomeKit. To round things out, we dive a little deeper into what Thread is and why you should, or maybe shouldn’t, care.
