Multi-instrumentalist and Buffalo Music Hall of Famer, Mark Panfil, has not only entertained thousands across the country but has used his God given talents to teach and inspire others to play a little bluegrass. As a music educator, Mark taught for over thirty years in the public school system while raising his own family in the same musical traditions his father passed onto him. His influence within the bluegrass movement is best known through his passion for playing the dobro, banjo and his first love, the harmonica. Mark was kind enough to share his story over a few beers that his son, Scott Panfil, had recently brewed. A special thanks to Scott and his project WNY Brews for the use of his very awesome home recording studio.
