Bunnell turns tables on Masuk and the Last of the Unbeatens | The Meat Grinder S7 E5
Manage episode 444370326 series 2408792
WELCOME BACK to another exciting edition of The Meat Grinder, your weekly look back at everything that happened in Connecticut high school football, hosted by Pete Paguaga and Sean Patrick Bowley, brought to you by GameTimeCT and CT Insider.
It was back to good ol' league play in Week 4, the last full week before teams start taking their byes, and it was a busy one with a host of unbeaten teams going down in defeat, particularly No. 4-ranked Masuk, which suffered its first loss of the year, 21-0 vs. SWC rival Bunnell — a game that was a carbon copy of its 14-0 takedown of No. 1 New Canaan the previous week.
But it was busiest in the Central Connecticut Conference where Tolland, Manchester and Wethersfield all saw their unbeaten seasons end while victorious East Catholic, Bristol Central and New Britain subsequently continued theirs in thrilling fashion.
We break it all down, look at the latest top 10 poll and at last remaining unbeaten teams through four weeks, including Capital Prep, who rode Hashim Jones to another big victory in the Pequot League. And don't miss another round of SHOUTOUTS!
