Today’s episode is a real gift. I sit down with Emiline who has bravely agreed to be coached by me live and we engage in an incredibly vulnerable conversation about her past and her path with grief and loneliness. Emiline details how she’s always been told her expectations were too high despite seeing those needs met in other relationships. We conduct a guided empathy exercise to help her understand the realities of her friends and family members around her mother’s death before I help her to reconcile with her inner child and process the stories she’s been telling herself for years that have gone unchecked.

More from this episode:

  • Understanding how our feelings do not dictate truth
  • The power of empathy and its ability to shift all forms of relationships
  • How much our inner world can impact our external experiences and how we must rewrite the stories that we told ourselves as children to thrive in the world today
