🎙️ Welcome to a brand-new episode of The MarshyCast!
Before I take a well-earned break to enjoy some summer fun with the kids, I’m leaving you with a packed episode full of brilliant guests and entertaining stories to keep you company while I’m off-air.

📺 First up, actor and writer Ryan Sampson joins me to chat all about the latest season of Mr Bigstuff—now streaming on Sky and NOW. We talk about working with Danny Dyer (yes, including that hilarious story of Danny sprinting naked down the street with only a sock to preserve his modesty!), and the unique challenge of writing and acting in a show without directing it.

🌍 Then, I catch up with Alfie Watts, winner of Race Across the World, who shares some golden travel do’s and don’ts, reveals his frustrations with American roads, and admits he’s still learning as he goes. Plenty of handy tips if you’ve got the travel bug!

🎶 Finally, I’m joined by singer and vocal coach Annie Skates, who’s gearing up to perform ABBA’s greatest hits with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Portsmouth Guildhall. We dive into why ABBA’s music still connects globally after five decades, her personal favourites, and her behind-the-scenes stories working with actors like Rami Malek on their singing journeys.

As always, thank you so much for listening and supporting the show—every stream, comment, and share means the world. While I’m off for a little summer reset, don’t forget you can catch up on previous episodes and other interviews on Express FM and online. I’ll miss you, but I’ll be back before you know it!
