We start Season Two with this first episode, one that was originally recorded last December, and one that exemplifies how a successful leader is also an authentic servant.

On December 3, 2022, Borys Wrzesnewskyj, former Member of Parliament in Canada, and founder/owner of Future Bakery, served as the keynote speaker at a special charitable dinner hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion in Bala, Ontario. Borys described Vladimir Putin's war on Ukraine before a sell-out audience, and he provided a personal and deeply unique perspective: not only is Borys the Canadian son of Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Canada after the Second World War, he has also spent many years warning governments around the world about Vladimir Putin's intentions on Ukraine—warnings that sadly have become a tragic reality.

Yet, Borys' message is ultimately one that inspires the listener, as it celebrates the resilience of the human spirit, and encourages peace and hope. Listen to this episode of The Life of a Servant, a podcast about servant-leadership, to hear this impassioned speech in its entirety, and to learn more about what you can do to help.
