Allison Berry was diagnosed with a rare form of Rhabdomyosarcoma, and battled through surgery, chemotherapy, and worst of all, radiation.
Emerging triumphant from this never-ending fight, she rebuilt her Life, rediscovered who she was; she got engaged, she made plans to return to school, she signed up to run the Columbus Marathon, reclaiming her athletic prowess.
Everything was perfect...
Until her Cancer returned.
Allie was devastated by this news, but rather than turn that passion and rage on those close to her, she decided this time would be different. She was going to beat this, she was going to use this as an opportunity to fight and show others what true strength can be.
And Allie showed up to that Marathon as a Patient Champion to deliver an empowering speech that left many of Team Impossible in tears, including Matt.
