Vehicle manufacturers on the European market have a new set of rules to play by: since July 7, 2024, the EU’s General Safety Regulation (GSR) requires all new cars, buses, and trucks to include Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning (DDAW) systems. At the same time, Euro NCAP are expanding their scope to provide detailed information about the safety of heavy trucks via an innovative Truck Safe City and Highway rating scheme.

As legislators and rating institutes are raising the bar for road safety, many car, bus, and truck manufacturers may find themselves struggling to answer a whole new set of complex questions.

To help navigate this new reality, we assembled a panel of industry experts to give you some crucial insights to demystify the new rules and ensure your vehicles meet (or exceed) the latest standards, including:

The Technical requirements for DDAW and ADDW integration

The specific features that will help you achieve top Euro NCAP Truck Safe ratings

How to Prepare your vehicles for upcoming Advanced Driver Distraction Warning (ADDW) requirements in 2026

Tackle the challenges of aligning your manufacturing processes with the latest GSR standards

Listen to learn more on ensuring your vehicles not only comply with but excel under these new regulations.
