Welcome to another episode of the Horror Agenda.

This week we cover the 2022 short film "The Mages of Rage and the Desecration of the House of Mimicry" a horror comedy directed by Patrick Sheedy. The film is cowritten by Sheedy & Brett Brooks who both play parts in the film as well. The film is DPd by Matthew Patrick Noonan who rounds out the main cast who play a band that performs in the house of a late punk icon to disastrous consequences.

You can watch the film on Jason's vimeo page here. We found it on the Alter Youtube page. It's also our Horror Agenda shorts here.

We reference an episode of the Horror Pop After Midnight podcast where the host interviews both Patrick and Brett here.

We also reference this Geek Tyrant interview with Jason Sheedy by Joey Paur here.

This week Victor recommends the book Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, the first book in a fantasy series about dragon riders, war, friendship and love.

Carlos recommends Harriet the Spy, a 1996 film about a young girl named Harriet who wants to see it all and spies on her friends, family, and neighbors and gets a lesson in growing up. It stars the recently deceased, and gone too soon, Michelle Trachtenberg. There's also an episode of the Bechdel Cast on it featuring Jenna Uskowitz (with a special interview with Vanessa Lee Chester, who played Janey in the film).

Carlos also recommends an episode of Jamie Loftus' Sixteenth Minute which features Liam Kyle Sullivan of Shoes fame.
