In this episode of The Home Building and Remodeling Show we jump into the #1 reason why residential construction projects fail. We offer solid strategies on how to overcome the communication gap as well we talk about the international residential codebook and its consolidated version the code check book. The code check book is a consolidated version of the IRC and is much easier to follow and use as a quick reference for code information. We discuss how we use a software program called Buildbook and why i chose it over the more publicly known construction management programs. We then dive back into Adams journey from rehab into becoming a project manager and now the general manager of aa multimillion dollar construction company. We believe that learning a trade is what enabled him to overcome hurdles in his life a provide a pathway for getting out of the troubled life. We discuss his journey and how at each step he was able to level up because of his trade background.
