I want to be clear: I am heartbroken that Charlie Kirk was murdered. My heart breaks for his wife, for his two young children, and for everyone affected by this tragedy.
But I also want to be clear about something else: he should not be made a Christian martyr. Charlie Kirk built a platform that promoted racism, misogyny, and a relationship model that has harmed generations of women—telling us our highest calling is to stay home, have babies, and submit to our husbands.
