I recently heard this song, who I am by Wyn Starks. He was on America’s got talent and boy was he good. More specifically, the lyrics took me back. For me, it was about being the same person behind closed doors as I am in public. To do the work to not feel like who I am isn’t enough. so often the roots of our struggles are never discovered. So often people are grasping for strategies or hacks to avoid, or to overcome, or not suffer from whatever is ailing them. Instead, we should be digging down deep into the roots of where they came from, of what we believe about ourselves, and where they started. I’d love to hear from you.
