Welcome to The Hawthorns Debate Club – A West Brom Podcast with Jamie Clay, Joe Clay, Alex Collins, and Tom Goffe.

What a difference 90 minutes can make. After an incredible 3–2 comeback victory over Swansea, the mood around Albion has flipped on its head. For a moment it looked like Ryan Mason was hanging by a thread — by full-time he was being hailed as the hero. But is this dramatic win the turning point Albion desperately needed, or just another twist in an unpredictable season?

In this episode, we dig deep into the Swansea match: the chaos, the character, the tactical shifts, and the manager’s rollercoaster of a night. We discuss what the result means for Mason’s future, whether this sparks real momentum, and how much faith we should place in a team that managed to swing from crisis to ecstasy in one evening.

We also look ahead to the upcoming clashes with QPR and Southampton — two games that could either build on this new sense of belief or send us straight back into uncertainty.
