Hi friend — welcome back to The Habit Within! I’m Camille Kinzler, and today’s conversation is one I’ve been sitting with for a while. It’s all about honoring both our body’s innate wisdom to heal — and also the truth that sometimes… it needs a little help.

I’ve always been fascinated by how powerful our bodies are. The fact that they can self-repair, regulate, and recalibrate on their own is incredible. But lately, I’ve been realizing something: just because our bodies can heal naturally doesn’t mean we always have to do it alone.

There are moments when the foundations — food, movement, sunlight, rest — just aren’t enough. And that’s okay. Sometimes, we need extra support: a supplement, a peptide, a medication, a different kind of partnership. It’s not a failure. It’s simply being human.

In this episode, I share:

  • Why it’s okay to seek support — even if you’ve always been the “I’ll do it naturally” type
  • My own journey of letting go of shame around needing a little extra help
  • How to know when your body’s asking for foundational care versus intervention
  • The beauty of the “both/and” — honoring your body’s intelligence and welcoming outside support when needed
  • Simple foundational practices I’ve returned to (and how small tweaks can re-anchor your healing)

This conversation is about releasing the guilt and pressure we often put on ourselves to “do healing right.” Your body’s wisdom is vast and powerful — but sometimes, it simply needs a hand.

Big Takeaways:

  • Healing isn’t all or nothing — it’s both/and.
  • You can trust your body and still seek support.
  • Shame has no place in your healing story.
  • You’re allowed to change your mind about what “natural” healing looks like.

I’d love to hear from you:
