Hey Gritty Friends,

If you are finding the world today a struggle to focus, overwhelming, or even sadness, you are in the right place. I am going to admit first…when coming to this episode, I was thinking, what does this episode need to be? I do have a list of topics I want to talk about but I actually don’t write these until the week prior…why? Because I want to feel it in the moment as to what is speaking to me. This week in my FB community, I spoke on 4 different topics. All have been struggles that I have been speaking with clients about: overcoming obstacles, journaling, work life balance, and holding yourself accountable. Only 1 podcast for these topics so far and it was on work life balance (refer to episode 5). Journaling really spoke to me with the climate of life we have going on. Journaling is a therapeutic form of writing that has been shown to help with mental health, physical symptoms, and much more. I lost this skill after leaving my teenage years. But when one of my coaches suggested it last year…i took it up again.

We will talk about how to get started, why it is useful and where to begin. I do get pretty gritty in this episode but I truly hope you find it useful and with all that is going on, I mostly want you to find it as a way to convey your thoughts and feelings to release the stress, anxiety, happiness and just the emotional rollercoaster of life.

I will provide you with 4 strategies to journaling and hope that the 4th one you will definitely act on! So sit back, buckle up and let's get gritty today!
