What's That Smell? (Grace Giving and Grace Living!)

You've probably been in a room when someone says, "What's that smell?" (Usually not a compliment!) But if you're in Christ, your fragrance is heavenly—you smell like Jesus to God. So why roll around in the world's dumpster when you've got access to the finest fragrance?

In this message, we dive into grace giving and grace living. From relationships to generosity, Paul reminds us: Grace living doesn't reek of guilt or obligation. And we give because it's joyful, fun, and a chance to see others flourish.

What does it look like to be separate but not isolated from unbelievers? To feel remorse without condemnation? To live in freedom while blessing others? It's all part of walking by the Spirit—and exuding the fragrance of Christ Himself.

Watch the full message now and see how it all comes together!

  3. Read 2 Corinthians 8:12-15. What do we learn about how the early church was invited to share with each other to meet needs?
  4. Read 2 Corinthians 9:5. Why did Paul send someone to go ahead of him? What does that show us about Paul's heart?
  5. Read 2 Corinthians 9:6. React to this statement: If we invest in the gospel, we're going to see a harvest: transformed lives!
  6. Read 2 Corinthians 9:7. What four expressions here show exactly what a healthy motivation for giving looks like? How is this different from the "give until it hurts" mentality?
  7. What meant the most to you from Andrew's message today? Why?
