Do you ever hear any of these stories? And a lot of them occur around the timeframe of the Civil

War and that era. I hear stories where somebody had a great treasure, maybe they had a lot of money,

maybe it was Confederate money, maybe it was other gold or silver. And instead of taking that money and

putting it in a bank when there was so much upheaval in government, they took all that money and they

put it in something like a mason jar and they buried that treasure in the backyard. Wouldn't you love one

day to be working out somewhere? Maybe you had a shovel and you were digging and to find some great

treasure in something like that. But who does that? Who puts treasures in a mason jar and buries it in the

ground? Well, friend, I want to talk to you today about an amazing treasure that's in a jar of dirt. The

Bible tells us God has placed an amazing treasure in a dirt jar. What is that treasure? And what is that dirt

jar? I think you'll be surprised at both.
