(00:00:00) The Geek Matrix Pod reviews DC’s Weekly Comics Releases This week, (11/13/24), that's:

(01:01:11) #ActionComics 1075

(01:22:45) #BatmanandRobin 15

(01:32:45) #GreenLantern 17

(02:01:00) #AbsoluteBatman 2

(02:25:45) #BlackLightning 1

(00:41:33) Plus our Honorable Mentions covered each week by Josh! Here’s the run down –

Variants

Absolute Batman #2 – Jeffrey Alan Love, Action Comics 1075 by Steve Beach, and the Clayton Henry Virgin Foil which is the normal cover, Black Lightning by Taurin Clarke, and a variant for Batman & Robin #15 by… McFarlane Toys…

Issues

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight - The Kryptonian Age #6 – We’re at the halfway point in this one and man, this train just keeps chugging along. The rta is good and the story is better. Alan Scott’s costume being a mashup of everyone else’s is really cool. And wait till you see the surprise on the last page. I dig it. 8/10

DC vs. Vampires: World War V #4 - 4 issues in and this could easily be the best of the series, and they’ve been pretty good. And Ra’s Al Ghul gets a tongue lashing from Damian that just tears him to shreds. Oh, and have I mentioned yet that Alfred Pennyworth is a Green Lantern? 8/10

Batman: Uncovered #1 – Like the rest of the series, this is full of gorgeous artwork, and it even includes that MS Paint cover from Tom King in it. Love it. 9/10

MultiVersus: Collision Detected #5 – Reviewed by Dash – 10/10
