When I first started my fitness journey, I thought smaller jeans and a flatter stomach were the ticket to happiness. Instead, I ended up skipping dinners with friends so I could weigh out almond butter, losing my period from overtraining, and crying in the mirror even at my “goal weight.”

In this episode, I share the exact lessons that could have saved me years of guilt, binges, and burnout:

  • Why getting smaller won’t fix the voice that says you’re not enough
  • The truth about discipline (and why permission stops the binge/restrict cycle)
  • How eating more — not less — finally gave me the body I wanted
  • The moment I realized strength training was the key to self-trust, not “getting bulky”
  • How rest saved me from the ER and rebuilt my health
  • Why mindset work will always matter more than the number of macros you hit

If you’re grinding through workouts, terrified of carbs, or constantly starting over every Monday — this episode is the wake-up call I wish someone had given me. Fitness isn’t about chasing skinny. It’s about building strength, confidence, and freedom.
