Our names are Reginald and Vanessa, and we’re writing with hopeful hearts, dreaming of the day we can finally hold our baby girl in our arms. This journey to parenthood has been filled with love, faith, and more challenges than we ever imagined—but we refuse to give up on our dream of completing our family.In 2022, we began IVF after through Shady Grove Facilitylearning that Vanessa couldn’t carry a pregnancy herself. My incredible sister selflessly stepped forward to be our surrogate, offering us the gift of hope. Together, we’ve poured everything into this journey—emotionally, physically, and financially. We’ve endured the highs and lows of fertility treatments, the joy of creating two precious embryos, and the heartbreak of losing one of our babies to miscarriage. Through it all, we’ve held onto faith, knowing our little Baby Lyric is still waiting for her chance to join our family.
