Kassidy Yager was born into a religious cult, the Jehovah's Witness Christian denomination. In this episode, she shares her story of being raised in a closed environment where she was taught beliefs like "we would die if we hung out with people from school." Kassidy's mother later left the religion that she was also born into, later followed by Kassidy herself, who left at the age of 15. Kassidy, who thinks her life started at the age of 15, shares how the religion limited her as she grew up, and moving forward, what she's had to learn and overcome in the years since.
