A woman, identified as Jane Doe, has filed a lawsuit alleging that Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jay-Z sexually assaulted her in 2000 when she was 13 years old. She claims the assault occurred after the MTV Video Music Awards at a party where she was given a drink that made her feel disoriented, leading to the alleged assault by both men while a female celebrity watched.
Jane Doe has acknowledged inconsistencies in her account, including misidentifying certain individuals and events. For instance, she initially identified a celebrity present at the party who was later confirmed to be elsewhere at the time. Additionally, her father disputes her claim that he picked her up after the alleged assault. Despite these discrepancies, she maintains that the core events of the assault did occur.
Both Jay-Z and Diddy have vehemently denied the allegations. Jay-Z has labeled the lawsuit a "blackmail attempt" and has filed a motion to dismiss the case, requesting that Jane Doe's identity be revealed. Diddy's legal team has also dismissed the claims, describing them as false and a shameless pursuit of money.
