SURVIVING THE AGE OF FOOLISHNESS, PRACTICAL ADVICE TO ESCAPE THE CIRCUS. EP.38

Recognizing Foolishness in a World Gone Mad
Hey, it’s Earnest Mann. Today, I’m talking about advanced perception, and why recognizing foolishness is a vital life skill—especially in these chaotic times. If you’re trying to not just survive but thrive, you better know the difference between foolishness and stupidity, and why one can be fixed and the other can’t.
The Sharp Line Between Stupid and Foolish
You can’t fix stupid—but foolishness? That can be addressed, if someone’s willing to look at their actions and say, “Yeah, that’s kind of foolish.” I break down how people use distractions—like video games, sports obsession, and constant entertainment—to avoid confronting reality. And while blowing off steam is normal, there’s a fine line between relief and avoidance.
Entertainment, Distraction, and the Modern Circus
Look, Rome figured this out a long time ago—bread and circuses. Modern society’s no different. You’re handed endless distractions while your power, time, and money slip away. The corporations own the government. You’re being played, distracted, and left with nothing to show for decades of time-wasting foolishness.
Your Time is Your Most Valuable Asset
I’m not here to sugarcoat things. Every minute you spend on things that don’t practically improve your life is a minute you’re giving away. There are smart people using their time wisely—building wealth, securing property, and planning for the future. Meanwhile, too many are stuck playing pretend in virtual worlds and watching others succeed.
Change Starts with You
You can’t blame the system if you keep feeding it your time and energy. If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always got. Stop the vicarious living, cut the foolish habits, and start focusing on what truly matters. Your future self will thank you.
