Kirsten, a registered dietitian, who developed a deep interest in IBS after experiencing it herself. Despite her knowledge of IBS science, she struggled with traditional treatments like probiotics and low FODMAP diets. She eventually discovered that effective IBS management requires more than just scientific knowledge; it needs personalized application.
Kirsten developed The Take Control method, focusing on movement, sleep, mental health, and nutrition. This approach transformed her life, allowing her to engage in activities and enjoy life more fully. Over the past 12 years, Kirsten has helped thousands manage their IBS and is also the co-founder of The Dietitian’s IBS course, a CEU-accredited training for dietitians.
