Men, if you’re stuck, stop pointing fingers. Life doesn’t change because your boss changes, your wife changes, or your circumstances change. Life changes when you do.

PROMO SPOT: Stop drinking weak coffee. Weak coffee = weak mornings = weak men. Fuel up with Confined Space Coffee and get 10% off your first order with code DANGEROUSBREW10.

QOTD -
"The unexamined life is not worth living." – Socrates

Every man has a tendency to play the blame game. “If only my wife respected me… if only my boss noticed me… if only my past didn’t hold me back.”

SOTD – 2 Corinthians 13:5 (ESV): “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.”

WHAT Is It?
Self-reflection is the disciplined practice of looking inward with honesty. It’s asking hard questions of yourself:

  • Where am I failing?
  • Where am I growing?
  • Where am I lying to myself?

APPLY – Tactical Action Steps

  1. Mirror Check Journal: Write down one thing you did right and one thing you did wrong each day. Brutal honesty, no excuses.
  2. Question Drill: Weekly ask yourself three questions.
    • Where am I compromising?
    • What’s the truth I’m ignoring?
    • What step can I take this week to fix it?
  3. Brotherhood Audit: Once a month, sit down with a trusted brother and let him call out blind spots in your life. No defense, no rebuttal, just listen.
  4. Scripture Filter: Read a passage of scripture daily and write how your life does, or does not line up with it.

DANGEROUS FOCUS FOR THE WEEK: Every night this week, before you go to bed, write down:

  • One area where you showed strength.
  • One area where you made excuses.
  • One action you’ll take tomorrow to close that gap.
