In today’s episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we begin a special twenty-five-day journey through Recapturing the Wonder of Christmas, a devotional we have placed in every school family’s hands. We open with the meaning of Christmas found in Isaiah 9:2 and Matthew 1:23, celebrating the truth that God has drawn near to us in Christ. The Second Pour highlights a full weekend of birthdays, staff celebrations, lunch, and tonight’s home basketball games. We close with Isaiah 53:5 as our Memory Verse of the Week, reminding us that the peace we enjoy came through the suffering and love of our Savior. It is a good way to begin the month and set our hearts on why this season matters.
