In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we look at David’s time in the cave of Adullam and how God often breaks a man before He builds him. Through loneliness, fear, and surrender, David learns what it means to lead by dependence, not dominance. We’ll see how God uses hidden seasons to prepare His people for greater service—just as He did with David, and ultimately, with Christ. In The Second Pour, we celebrate Iris in the 12th grade, enjoy burritos and nachos for lunch, and cheer on our students trying out for winter sports. It’s a reminder that even in ordinary days, God is shaping extraordinary hearts.
