In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Amish volunteers from Pennsylvania quietly helped rebuild not only homes but also hope for residents of Chimney Rock, NC. Their story is a powerful reminder that God often works through quiet faithfulness, not breaking news. Most breaking news stories will play out in ways that will impact us, but we have little ability to impact them. Yet the best way to advance God’s kingdom on earth is to keep our focus and energy on the parts of our lives where we can make a difference.
