This week, we’re sitting down with Emmy-nominated actress Rhea Seehorn to talk about her deeply layered new series Pluribus, the genre-bending sci-fi drama created by Vince Gilligan for Apple TV+. Set in Albuquerque, the show thrusts Rhea’s character, Carol Sturka—dubbed “the most miserable person on Earth”—into a world turned upside-down by sudden, relentless happiness. Everyone else is immune to doubt, anger, fear… everyone but her. She’s tasked to save humanity from euphoria, and the result is haunting, hilarious, and completely unexpected.
