Time is running out for us to fulfill our spiritual commitments and resolutions. Eight months into the year, many of us haven't completed—or even started—the things we resolved to do, while God has already finished His part through Jesus Christ.

• The Israelites' complaining in the wilderness demonstrates how criticism can become our downfall
• We should proclaim God's promises daily instead of complaining about circumstances
• Jesus is building His church on schedule, regardless of our procrastination
• Divine revelations may appear to linger, but they "will certainly come and will not delay"
• God's promises are found in His Word, which we need to write down, remember, and speak aloud
