John Canzano is in talking about the community of sports and if the sense of community is dying because of prices. Canzano recaps his trip to Happy Valley for the Oregon vs Penn State game, and feels for some of the fans who wanted to go but couldn't afford to go. University of Portland men's soccer coach Nick Carlin-Voight joins the program to talk about his team this season. The Pilots just got voted #1 in the rankings with a 6-0-1 record, and Carlin-Voight talks about why his team has been so successful. Carlin-Voight talks about the validity of being the top-ranked team in the nation and says his team takes pride in knowing that people are recognizing that. Carlin-Voight loves the University of Portland and says that all the other coaches in every sport have been following his team and helping them along the way. Carlin-Voight talks about the sacrifices the team has made by staying at Portland and not jumping ship to a Power Four conference. Portland State head football coach Bruce Barnum joins the program to discuss the Vikings' loss to Northern Arizona over the weekend and preview next week's game against Eastern Washington. Barnum discusses the mindset of the players, who are 0-5 on the season, and has categorized this upcoming game against Eastern Washington as a "flag game", essentially a must-win game. Barnum talks about the importance of special teams and how he has realized that special teams are way more important than he used to think. Professional table tennis player Nikhil Kumar joins the program to discuss what it is like being a professional table tennis player in Major League Table Tennis. Kumar talks about the league, which will be in Portland, and what to expect at the event. Kumar talks about his upbringing and how he got into table tennis growing up.
