John Canzano is in talking about Oregon State's loss to Appalachian State over the weekend, and if the firing of special teams coordinator, Jamie Christian, is valid. Canzano wonders if Oregon State fired Christian because they want to appease the fan base. Beaver Blitz's Angie Machado joins the program to try and make sense of the Oregon State 0-6 start to the season. Machado thinks that Oregon State not only has a football problem, but that Oregon State's problems run much deeper than just sports. Machado thinks that the firing of the special teams coordinator was too little too late for fans. Machado believes that regardless of how the Beavers finish the season, the damage has already been done, and this season is a failure. Machado wonders if Oregon State is to fire Trent Bray, would the fan base have trust in athletic director Scott Barnes to make the right hire? The head football coach of the Miami Hurricanes, Mario Cristobal, joins the program to talk about his program, which is ranked #2 in the nation. Cristobal talks about his time at Oregon and how he built the Ducks program when he got to Eugene. Cristobal talks about his relationship that he has with Dan Lanning, and if he considers Oregon to be a stepping stone program.
