Marianna Marlowe is a Latina writer who lives in the SanFrancisco Bay Area. After devoting years to academic writing, her focus now is creative nonfiction that explores issues of gender identity, feminism, cultural hybridity, intersectionality, and more. Her short memoir has been published in Narrative, Hippocampus and The Woven Tale Press, among others. Her memoir in essays, Portrait of a Feminist, will be published in the Spring of 2025.

At time 22:30 she reads from Portraitof a Feminist: A Memoir in Essays.
