Phoebe An Lee talks to the Artsy Raven about how journalism school helped her writing, why she writes martial arts fantasy novels and what inspires her.

Phoebe An Lee is a writer of sorts. She has written and edited for various media, such as newspapers, marketing collateral, project proposals and other corporate communications materials. Her debut middle grade martial arts fantasy novel, Quincy Zi and the Nine-Tailed Fox, is a nod to the anime and martial arts stories she loved as a child. She is the Treasurer and Programmer for the Canadian Authors Association in Toronto. She mostly lives in daydream-land but is otherwise based in Toronto, Canada.

At time 14:00 she reads from debut novel, Quincy Zi and the Nine-Tailed Fox.
