In this episode I speak to Or Lenchner, the CEO of Bright Data, a web-scraping alternative data provider.

As well as being one of the largest web-scraping companies in the world, Bright Data is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with Meta that might shape the future of web-scraping as a business. Or and I discuss the history of Bright Data and the state of play with the court case.

Separately for any Japanese listeners, I will be in Tokyo during the week of April 17th and would be delighted to meet any data-related people while I’m there, so please do reach out.
