Isaiah 43 v 18 - 19 says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." When God does a new thing, it will be something that we have never experienced before, and we cannot dwell on the past or get too caught up looking at the future that we miss what He is doing in the present because He wants to partner with us in this new place where we walk in step with Him and do not race ahead and skim past the work that He is doing .
