Bungie. Game Informer reports that Bungie has confirmed that “unauthorized use” of artist Antireal’s work ended up spread throughout Marathon’s recent alpha test. The company claims it is investigating how stolen art made it into the game.
Crooked Moon. Polygon reports that Legend of Avantris’s folk horror-themed campaign setting and player options book are coming to D&D Beyond. The Crooked Moon earned more than $4M on Kickstarter, making it the most successful D&D5E project on the platform.
Electronic Arts. IGN reports that EA will permanently end remote work and implement a full return to office. The company will require hybrid employees to work at least three days a week in their local office.
Giant Bomb. Giant Bomb announced that it has gone independent from its former parent company, Fandom. The gaming news site is now employee-owned and seeks to lean on subscriptions for revenue.
Nintendo. NintendoLife reports that the Switch 2 will only support VRR (variable refresh rate) in handheld mode, contrary to what was previously published on the official site.
