It appears to me that Democrats love homelessness because it fills the NGO coffers. But those NGOs only pretend to help those on the streets. Our tax dollars are funneled to the NGO crony Democrats, not to help the homeless. For instance, Oregon has the highest prevalence of mental illness in the US. Oregon has a significant and long-standing lack of access to mental health care. This issue is notable because there is widespread agreement on it. It takes much longer than average to build treatment centers. Also Oregon has a high substance abuse rate, and addicts aren’t treated. They become homeless, and once again the cycle goes on. So there’s homelessness, overdoses, death. But nobody’s really helped - except the Democrats. Certified Social Security Advisors.
