On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Matt Warren (SB Nation) to examine how the present and the future of the Buffalo Bills is looking, positionally.

With the NFL Draft barely a week away, the Bills will be adding prospects to the roster that general manager Brandon Beane is counting on helping them get over the AFC hump. Defense obviously feels like the bigger need, especially considering Josh Allen just won MVP and the vast majority of the offense is back from last year. Still, the draft isn't just about one season and the guys start to go through the team position-by-position to determine where priorities could be beyond just the upcoming 2025 season.

More specifically the guys talk about wide receiver being a position of interest because Beane can get out of Curtis Samuel's contract after this year. Also, Dion Dawkins is one of the game's best left tackles but at 31 years old, do you start considering grooming a replacement for when he skills inevitably decline. Also, the Bills have four NFL caliber safeties but two are signed for just one year and another a guy Buffalo can easily financially move on from in 2026 if they desire.

Matt also has thoughts on what he considers the most intriguing things about this draft, the New Orleans Saints quarterback situation and much more.

Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time.
