In this way, the Brooklyn-based artist’s music, voice and poetry can be a comfort, yet like nothing you've ever heard. YATTA’s 2016 debut, Spirit Said Yes!, was merely a warm-up for this year's stunning WAHALA (PTP), an exploration of their many journeys that include being black and trans.
