In this latest podcast Steve talks to London based singer-songwriter and producer Jewelia. Her music has 1.9 million YouTube views and 1.3 million Spotify streams. She has two albums to her name, first album CITY OF MY MIND and her new album LITTLE WINS a collection of catchy synth pop. It’s released on the label Pretty Decent Music. Originally from Bucharest in Romania Jewelia tells us about her journey from studying law in her native country to moving to London and writing and producing two albums.
She tells us how she writes her songs and about her future music plans.

Steve Sahl-Taylor has nearly 40 years experience as a musician, singer and songwriter. He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.
He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.
