I met Bill in person for the first time in September of 2016 when I took him to dinner on his birthday... in Portland, Maine. Odd, because he lives in St. Louis, Missouri, and I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We tell you that story, of course, but that's not the invitation he and I talk about in this conversation.
The invitation Bill accepted takes him 7,512 miles from home on a regular basis. It's a journey, in more ways than one, that's for sure. Along the way, we discuss learning to love yourself, deciding what you want, expectations, taking risks, and RBF. Not necessarily in that order.
