[1.24] - Dr. John Nesan shares his present clinical work and the work at his company. He not only does maxillofacial surgery and dental clinical work but also performs 3D Printing work which includes designing and printing of Models, guides, splints, and Patient-specific Implants for the craniofacial region.

He shares the history of 3D Printing and then tells how he learned from his mentors to further proceed in his work. He had visionaries to guide him.

Dr. Nesan shares his first case which was a mandibular defect being operated on by Dr. Jimson. He shared how they did plan all three steps of resection, reconstitutes, and rehabilitation. But that implant failed due to many reasons. He claims it as a terrible experience but now having the highest no of patient-specific implants in India. He is thankful to Dr. Jimson to have borne the brunt of that failure and shadowed him.

He shares his journey of almost closing down due to the failure. But his internal entrepreneurial spirit and the support of his family and friends kept him going. He then shares his first break with Dr. Sujoy, Dr. Kamath, and Dr. Manikandan.
