From regional conflicts to cyber risks and public health challenges, the world is facing a new era of complex security threats. In 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the Global Security Initiative, calling for common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security. In this episode, we look at how China advances peaceful dialogue, supports UN peacekeeping, strengthens maritime security, and promotes cooperation on emerging issues such as data, AI, and biosecurity - offering approaches that aim to make global security more inclusive and more stable for all.
