S6E26 - Join us as we dive into the mind of Author rook Urick. She'll be in the house telling tales of her time within the Sugar Daddy Website and much much more. Brook worked in the PR department of a popular sugar daddy website for five years while also navigating the world of “sugaring.” At first I thought it was harmless, what’s the problem with an older guy giving someone money? I slowly learned I was asking the wrong questions. My upbringing was filled with playing outside, jumping off the shed into my dad’s arms then making out with my female neighbor inside when he wasn’t looking. My mom was always cooking, always in the middle of some lovely art project. Despite how I might portray them in the book (which they are barely in at all to be fair), I love them both and have a great relationship with them now. Honestly until I started writing this book back in 2021, I thought I had a great childhood and that it didn’t fuck me up. I did have a great childhood, but it also fucked me up. Both can be true.
