🤼 ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE??🤼

In our MOST HEATED EPISODE YET, Nick’s older brother Jake ENTERS THE RING to discuss Cooper Raiff’s 2020 debut coming-of-age film SHITHOUSE. It’s two-against-one as Those Fabulous Kinney Boys™️ defend Raiff’s project as an achingly accurate and surprisingly profound depiction of early college life, while Brennan argues that it is bad actually. And as if one fight isn't enough, Nick and Jake can't agree on how to pronounce the wonderful Dylan Gelula's last name (it's Guh-LOO-luh)! Outside of the ring, Nick would like to clarify that he didn’t know about the derogatory connotation of “softboi” until after this episode was recorded. Plus, Brennan pitches the next big animated film.

Madeline & Cooper (2018), Cooper Raiff's short film serving as a demo for Shithouse

The Criterion Collection is an ever-growing roster of movies deemed internationally significant on an artistic level. Each new film added to the collection is given a Spine Number, making any film NOT in the collection: SPINELESS. Join Nick and Brennan (your very-favorite SPINELESS BOYS) as they cover the classic and contemporary films they feel are most deserving of the Criterion treatment.
