Pleasing God with a New Heart

📖 Scripture: Romans 8:7–8 - 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

🧠 Explanation: A person whose thoughts and attitudes are controlled by their sinful nature is opposed to God and unwilling to follow His laws. This mindset is naturally resistant and refuses to submit to God's guidance, making it impossible for such a person to live in a way that pleases God. Essentially, those who live according to their fleshly desires are separated from God’s will and cannot earn His approval through their actions.

🛠 Application: Don’t rely on your willpower alone to follow and obey God. Instead, depend on the Spirit who now lives in you. Let Him change your heart and empower you to obey the Lord from the inside out.
