"The Bible is a bit intimidating! It's big and I have no idea where to start" "It's confusing" "It doesn't make sense." Is that you?
In the same way that you would use a map to get the big picture of an area before traveling through, people should get a map of the bible, and look at it from a 'birds-eye' view before diving into any books. That's what this episode of the Gnaw Initiative is all about. It is designed to give a quick look at the books of the Old Testament in such a way that a person can see how they are all interconnected, and all pointing to Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
HOPEFULLY, this will reduce the intimidation factor and give listeners a framework to hang on to the information within its pages. And if you are a seasoned student of the bible, well..... I hope this is a good refresher course for you!
Enjoy!
John 1
Genesis 1 & 3:15, & 3:21
